The Med Tech assists in developing, coordinating, and performing tasks per the resident’s service plan; maintains MAR records, responds to alarms promptly, and promotes independence and safety. CPR certification is required; a positive, compassionate attitude is essential to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a personal care assistant.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities per care plan.
• Maintain and document care in Medication Assistance Records.
• Respond to pendant alarms and community calls promptly.
• Promote independence and safety; keep environment clean and orderly.
• Complete incident reports accurately and timely.
