Responsibilities

• Transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Maintain patient charts and medical records.
• Provide general clerical duties for the units (ordering supplies, filing, copying, submitting maintenance requests).
• Receive documents and properly follow through with telephone inquiries.
• Assist with monitoring all persons entering the unit.
• Provide administrative support to the nurses and physicians.
• May occasionally float to various nursing departments.
