Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Waco, Texas, at Ascension Providence. The role pays $1,622 per week and follows a Nights (3x12) schedule with Epic EMR.

As the Med Surg RN, you will manage a varied caseload, administer meds and treatments, educate patients and families, and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the care team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Active Texas RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition; escalate when needed.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the care team.
