TotalMed RN is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a travel assignment in Waco, Texas. The RN will perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide education to patients and families. Duties include changing dressings, starting IVs, and assisting physicians during exams.

The role emphasizes discharge planning, ongoing assessments, and documentation in a fast-paced environment. 13-week duration with 36 hours weekly on night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• NIH certification may be required.
• 12 hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
