Job summary

UPMC McKeesport is recruiting graduates for a Graduate Nurse Rotational Program. You will join as a full-time Staff Nurse, rotating through step-down, ortho/surgical, telemetry, medicine/oncology, and specialty floors for 6 months.

The program supports learning with mentors and preceptors, ongoing education, and a pathway to unit placement based on fit, experience, and union considerations.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure required or temporary permit with NCLEX within 6 months of hire.
• CPR required (AHA standards) within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of UPMC Student Nurse Internship or similar clinical transitions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotates through multiple hospital units to gain diverse clinical experience.
• Provide high-quality patient care with empathy and learning mindset.
• Partner with preceptors and mentors to develop nursing competencies.
• Meet standards for nursing care and safety while communicating with the care team.
