Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg Telemetry to join our inpatient team. The position focuses on direct bedside care with strong coordination of care planning and patient education.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, supervise other staff as needed, and participate in hourly rounding while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Level II EQ Only: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• License/Certifications: Arizona RN license; CPR; ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath Lab/L&D: ACLS required upon orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinates care planning.
• Assesses patient’s needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based on assessment data.
• Implements nursing and medical orders appropriate to patient status.
• May be asked to be in charge for a shift; performs other tasks as assigned.
