Job summary

Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY is seeking a part-time Med/Surg Telemetry RN to join our team onsite. You will provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg setting with telemetry monitoring responsibilities, ensuring safety and quality care.

Must have completed telemetry coursework and be prepared to support the unit with leadership as needed. Applicants should have a nursing degree and 2 years Med/Surg experience, with BLS on hire or within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• 2 years Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry monitoring course completed
• Must have completed BLS or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient needs.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to use lifts for patient handling.
• Ability to perform under stress and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership with ability to prioritize and delegate; may serve as charge nurse.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
