Responsibilities include admission assessment, medication administration, and timely documentation. The role emphasizes education for patients and families, ensuring clear understanding of treatment plans and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS or ACLS Instructor or APRN/RN credentials must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Educational credential: Associate Degree or RN Diploma.
• No travel required for this role.
• No experience required for entry-level RN position.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the chart.
• Provide responsive, compassionate care and address patient requests promptly.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, and follow-up, translating medical terms when needed.
