Qualifications

• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or instructor certification within 30 days.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or instructor certification within 6 months.
• RN license or APRN eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in medical records.
• Provide timely, compassionate patient care and respond to requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up care.
