Medical City McKinney is hiring a Med Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a full-time day shift (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver compassionate care and document thoroughly in the medical records.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, education, and adherence to nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage) to improve outcomes and the patient experience.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license and active state nursing license is required.
• 1+ years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift; report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up.
