Job summary

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking a Med Surg RN to join the service line of eight specialty units caring for adults undergoing varied medical and surgical interventions. You’ll benefit from a dedicated home unit and cross-training across specialties, building a strong clinical foundation while exposure to diverse patient conditions and procedures.

This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for nurses with at least one year of experience and a No Contract requirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult acute medical-surgical patients with pulmonary, cardiac and telemetry needs.
• Develop skills in telemetry, respiratory care, medication management and collaborative patient care.
