Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the team to provide high-quality patient care. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants with 1 year and 3 years commitment.

Join a fast-paced unit with an emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork. Travel between rooms, monitor patients on telemetry, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system,

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) – IDFPR
• BLS within 30 days – AHA
• College Diploma: Nursing
• No prior work experience required (as specified)

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment and develop plan of care.
• Document nursing care accurately in EMR and ensure accurate orders.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Ensure safety measures and assist with patient transfers and rounds.
