Job summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care to patients in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate has a BSN preferred and RN licensure in the state of practice, with CPR/BLS certification. Acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
• CPR or BLS certification: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers to provide safe, healing care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates duties and coordinates the healthcare team responsibilities.
