Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking a registered nurse to deliver professional patient care per physician orders and policy.

The RN will supervise care, delegate tasks, document interventions, and contribute to a collaborative, high‑quality unit. BLS required; ADN or Nursing Diploma, NC RN license; 12 months acute care experience encouraged; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Must have current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Assist in delivery of nursing care and act as team leader or charge nurse as assigned.
• Monitor resources and maintain the environment of care.
• Participate in professional development and performance improvement activities.
