Memorial Hospital Belleville, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Staff RN for the Inpatient Surgical unit (Med/Surg) in Belleville, IL. This full-time night shift role offers a competitive wage, BSN differential, and shift differential with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500.

The RN will provide direct patient care, participate in planning and evaluating care, and collaborate with an interprofessional team to deliver safe, high-quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience: <2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatment, post care and medications.
• Promotes patient safety and participates in quality/regulatory initiatives.
• Develops and documents care plans with interdisciplinary team and communicates across the continuum.
• Emphasizes safety-sensitive nature of the role.
