Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities; engages in professional development.
• Develops and documents plans of care with goals in collaboration with interprofessional team, patient, and family.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional needs and respects patient values and cultural needs.
