Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in Southlake, TX is seeking a registered nurse for highly professional and technical patient care. The role covers 7p-7a shifts on a PRN schedule, providing direct and indirect care using the nursing process and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will collaborate with the health system to deliver high-quality care, ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and ongoing professional development within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to obtain it.
• 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient and family education.
• Maintains clear and timely written communication of patient information.
• Delivers medication and IV administration safely and accurately.
• Demonstrates initiative for performance and professional growth.
• Applies the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
