Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, NY. The role is 37.5 hours per week with a 12-hour night shift and weekend requirements. It involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and direct patient care in a Med-Surg setting.

The position requires NYS RN licensure, BLS, and an accredited nursing program graduate. BSN and national certification are preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within Med-Surg/West 3.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school program.
• Current, unrestricted New York State registered professional nursing license; AHA BLS upon hire.
• BSN from an accredited nursing school program preferred.
• National Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient and family needs.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care involving the patient and the family.
• Performs and documents direct patient and family centered care and patient education according to nursing standards of practice.
• Identifies and responds to patient conditions to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Performs discharge planning to ensure safe and appropriate transition of care.
• Directs and delegates care provided by unlicensed team members.
• Provides world class customer service to patients and families.
