Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Nurse Aide to support Med/Surg/West 3 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. You will work under licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care during the 7.5-hour night shifts, with a weekend requirement. The role includes maintaining a safe, clean environment and delivering compassionate patient service.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS; preferred: prior nurse aide training and experience. Union: 1199 SEIU (CPH) representation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required for those hired after 10/08/2024.
• Current BLS certification is required for those hired after 10/08/2024.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Provides world class customer service to patients and families.
• Reports patient conditions to licensed nursing staff to support positive outcomes.
• Maintains a safe and clean patient and family centered environment.
