Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the Med Surg Observation team. The role involves coordinating comprehensive patient care, applying the nursing process, and delivering safe, high-quality care during night shifts.

Weekends and holidays are required, with a 36-hour workweek and a full benefits package. The RN will hold a state nursing license, have completed an accredited nursing program, and maintain BLS certification to meet standard care

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Valid RN license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards and policies.
