Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, safe patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit. You will follow the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborate with physicians, families, and other staff to maintain high standards of care.

The role requires a current RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. This full-time night-shift position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care and supervise patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and care team.
