Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and active RN licensure in Iowa.
• BLS and ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire.
• Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develops a written plan of care based on assessment data and follows standards.
• Performs general nursing care, administers medications and treatments per protocols.
• Assesses patients, documents thoroughly, and notifies supervisor/physician when needed.
• Documents observations, including safety needs and interventions; reports to next shift.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to OSHA and infection control policies.
• Participates in huddles, in-services, and departmental meetings; adheres to budget.
