HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide expert clinical care in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit. You will support patients and families while collaborating with an amazing team dedicated to high-quality, efficient care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact allowed), a Nursing Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, ACLS after 60 days, TNCC/TCAR after 12 months, and NIHSS after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida RN license or compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS required after 60 days of hire.
• TNCC or TCAR required after 12 months.
• NIHSS required after 6 months.
• Acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong reading, comprehension and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
