Job summary

Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical-Surgical unit for full-time night shifts. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and collaborative teamwork to deliver high-quality care.

Qualified candidates hold a current Kentucky RN license and an Associate degree in Nursing, with BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications pursued within specified timeframes. Sign-on bonus available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

Current Kentucky or compact RN license.
Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
BLS required within 1 month of hire.
ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Plan of care interventions, administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care and monitor patient condition with the care team.
Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene needs.
Coordinate with other departments for transfers, discharges and referrals.
Educate patients and families according to age and cultural needs.
Advocate for patient wellbeing and safety; float to other units as needed.
Titrate and maintain critical drips and manage ventilators as required.
Pass rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire/transfer.
