Job summary

Qualifications

• Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program.
• Current LA RN licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ACLS encouraged.
• Basic EKG encouraged within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, and meet holiday and weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants and CNAs.
• Apply nursing process in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care in line with hospital policies.
