Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed RN to join our Med/Surg team in Illinois. You will apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment within a smaller community hospital setting.

As an interdisciplinary team member, you will create individualized care plans, perform bedside lab tasks, and participate in performance improvement efforts while ensuring patient safety and education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• College diploma in nursing, ADN, or BSN.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois (IDFPR).

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
• Perform bedside lab testing and related quality control per policy.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate with team to meet patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and adapt teaching to patient needs and comprehension.
• Lead shift reports and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
