Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in Med Surg. You will collaborate with providers and care teams, adhering to nursing models and standards to ensure outstanding patient experiences and outcomes.

You will assess and document patient status, administer medications, and educate patients and families while ensuring safety and comfort. Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and CPI certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• CPI certification and minimum 1 year Med Surg RN acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift; report changes.
• Administer medications and document care; monitor therapeutic responses.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and educate patients and families.
• Translate medical terms and educate on condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
