Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required); BSN preferred.
• RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification (required); ACLS (required); national specialty certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 2+ years recent Med Surg experience; proficiency in computer data entry; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills, with ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring quality care.
• Foster teamwork and create a respectful environment, contributing to staff engagement and shared governance.
• Lead and participate in performance improvement projects, research, and patient safety initiatives.
• Stay current with ongoing education, mentoring fellow nurses, and guiding interdisciplinary teams.
• Apply evidence-based practices, participate in decision-making, and support continuous improvement.
• Plan resource management, care protocols, and optimize patient care throughout their journey.
