Qualifications

• TNCC certification within 1 year for Emergency Dept (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (Required)
• PICC competence for Interventional Radiology RN (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patients, design and implement an individualized plan of care for assigned patients and to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to formulate the plan of care for assigned patients.
• Applies knowledge of illnesses, injuries, and developmental stages to patient care.
• Administers medications and IV therapy.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care across age groups.
