Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking experienced nurses to join our Med/Surg teams, including 3B, 3C, and Med Surg 2 units, with floating to multiple units as needed. We value nurses who provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and commit to ongoing learning.

We welcome RNs with ASN or BSN qualifications, an active Indiana RN license (or NLC), and BLS certification. Both full-time nights and part-time options are available to fit different schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires an ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or an NLC license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply for >2 years acute care.
• 1 year Med Surg experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
