Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a skilled registered nurse to deliver family-centered care using the nursing process for diverse patient populations at Kennedy University Hospitals, Stratford location. You will develop care plans with patients and partners, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs while respecting cultural beliefs.

Responsibilities include education, discharge planning, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Active RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
• Knowledge of patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
• Comfort with using health information technology to document care and communicate with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families and staff to provide compassionate care aligned with Jefferson Health values.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Educates patients and designated care partners on conditions, treatments and discharge plans.
• Prevents harm by following established nursing practices and protocols.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and hospital committees.
