Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to care for ED admission holds in a 48-bed unit. The role requires ADN/ diploma, Nebraska or compact-state RN licensure, and BLS; PALS, ACLS, and TNCC/ATCN depending on the department.

Qualifications

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program required.
• PALS certification may be required by department.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or ATCN within one year or as department requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for ED admissions.
• Environment of care may be long term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural.
