Job summary

Nebraska Medicine's Bellevue Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse for First Shift. You will provide, coordinate, and delegate nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs in a high-paced emergency environment.

The role requires Nebraska RN licensure or compact state license, BLS, and certifications like PALS, ACLS, and TNCC/ATCN within set timeframes. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential; weekend and holiday rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required unless exceptions apply.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required from AHA-endorsed program.
• PALS required for Emergency Department; ACLS within 6 months; TNCC or ATCN within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of patients.
• Environment may be long term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural.
