Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse for the 36-bed Med-Surg unit. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients, perform IV starts, wound care, and bedside procedures, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

A day shift runs 7 AM–7 PM, with opportunities for growth and a sign-on bonus. Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Georgia RN licensure or multistate license is required to practice in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult Med-Surgical patients using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care activities with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Perform IV starts, wound care, bedside procedures, and manage NGTs and chest tubes as indicated.
