Job summary

Wellstar Health System at Columbia County Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team. This full-time position (36 hours per week, 3/12s) supports a patient-centered care environment in a Day shift. A 15K sign-on bonus may be available for eligible candidates.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with providers and families, and participate in performance improvement and governance initiatives. Licensure and BLS are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with the patient care team.
• Maintain professional licenses and complete required training.
• Uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; support governance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; coordinate care plans.
• Deliver safe, effective care per policies; document assessments and changes.
• Advocate for patients and families; educate on health-related issues.
