Job summary

Temple-Health is looking for an RN Staff Nurse to join the 5B Medical Surgical unit on a 36-hour-per-week Day Flex schedule. This full-time role provides direct patient care under physician supervision and supports the care team with family communication and plan coordination.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a PA RN license, BLS, and eligibility for multi-state licensure. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and up to 1 year of clinical experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Required Bachelor's Degree; 1 year experience preferred in area.
• PA Registered Nurse License Required.
• Basic Life Support Required.
• Multi State Compact RN License Required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under physician direction.
• Collaborates with patient, family, peers, and health care team to individualize care.
• Directs nursing support staff according to standards and policies.
• May require professional education, training or additional certifications by specialty area.
