Job summary

Openwork Health in Odessa, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical for a full-time role. You will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced MedSurg unit, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold patient safety and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered RN license.
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing or similar acute care setting preferred.
Current certifications as required by facility (BLS, ACLS).

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Medical Surgical unit.
Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and progress; report changes.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care requirements.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
