Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• 1 Year Of RN Experience Required.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong teamwork and patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies and standards of care to provide safe, patient-centered care for a diverse population.
• Ongoing communication with patients and health care team regarding patient status and treatment plans.
• Responsible for patient satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Medication administration utilizing up-to-date documentation technology to ensure safe delivery of meds.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage patient plans from admission to discharge for safe transition of care.
