Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing.
• At least one year of RN experience, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse in TX, upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition, providing nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Planning: design, direct, evaluate and document the plan of care, patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Implementation: prepare patients for treatments, surgeries and diagnostics; report changes to the team; implement safety protocols.
• Evaluation: reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Report Skills: give and receive bedside shift reports; ensure continuity of care.
• Environment & Safety: maintain safe patient and work environment; address safety concerns promptly.
