Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and may serve as charge nurse as assigned.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing with Florida license; BSN within three years of hire for certain transfers; BLS/ACLS/PALS as required by department. BSN preferred and professional certification is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have BSN within three years of hire or transfer.
• Current employees hired prior to August 1, 2013 will be grandfathered.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Function as charge nurse when assigned and supervise care activities.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients and coordinate with the healthcare team.
