Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4A Med Surg unit (36 HR Day Flex, 7am–7:30pm) at Jeane Campus. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, adheres to nursing standards, and collaborates with physicians and family to tailor patient care.

Responsibilities include directing support staff, applying the nursing process, and pursuing ongoing professional development as required by the specialty area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License required; Basic Life Support required; Multi-State Compact RN license required or...

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Collaborates with the patient, family, and health care team to individualize patient care.
• Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care per standards and policies.
• Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
