Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) role in the Medical-Surgical unit with Cynet Health focuses on delivering high-quality care to acutely ill patients in a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio during day shifts. You will collaborate with Patient Care Technicians to ensure comprehensive patient care, including foley care and routine hygiene, while adhering to unit protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license or initiation of licensure
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Experience with medical acute patient conditions (pneumonia, heart failure, sepsis, COPD, post-surgical, pediatric respiratory cases)

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a medical–surgical unit with patient ratios around 1:5 during the day
• Collaborate with Patient Care Technicians to perform routine care tasks
• Support unit management and float as staffing requires under charge nurse oversight
• Monitor telemetry strips and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Manage patient care priorities during rotating day/night shifts and holidays
• Ensure adherence to dress code (solid color scrubs) and unit orientation processes
