Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Med Surg on a 13-week, 12-hour night shift in Indiana. The traveler will cover a Med Surg unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5, read telemetry, and may float to other departments as needed. Travel, holiday work, and six-week scheduling blocks are part of the role.

Requires 2+ years Med Surg experience and an active RN license with BLS/ACLS credentials. Navy/royal blue scrubs encouraged for staff in a close-knit team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience.
• RN license required.
• Ability to titrate drips.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in a Med Surg unit with diverse diagnoses.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips for patient monitoring.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4 or 1:5 as assigned.
• Travelers may float to other departments during shifts.
• Schedule is created every six weeks with block scheduling.
