Job summary

TeemaGroup is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for an in-office assignment in Show Low, AZ. The role requires strong neuro and cardiac skills, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience. Shifts are 12 hours with a 36-hour guarantee, in a 24-bed unit with tele capability, under Sunrise Allscripts EMR.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a 10K sign-on bonus. Hospitalist support is in-house 24/7 and nurse-to-patient ratios vary by acuity.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years Med-Surg experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS preferred
• Shifts: 12 hours; 36-hour guarantee
• In-office Show Low, AZ with Tele capability

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on Med-Surg unit with Neuro and Cardiac focus
• Collaborate with hospitalists and support staff 24/7
• Monitor and respond to acuity-based nurse-to-patient ratios
• Utilize Sunrise Allscripts EMR for patient documentation
• Participate in in-house rounds and ensure patient safety during shifts

Days and Nights Shifts

Unit info:

• 24 beds - MedSurg with Tele capability on all beds
• Adults and Peds
• Must be strong in Neuro and Cardiac skills
• 2 years of experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
• PALS preferred
• Shifts: 12 hours
• 36 hour guarantee
• EMR: Sunrise Allscripts
• Support staff on unit: Tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs and PCTs
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds -also based on level of acuity
• Nurse managers don't provide patient care, but they do rounds
• Float to all MS units and ICU (taking MS overflow patients)
• Hospitalist in house 24/7
• No IV team
• Resp Therapist 24/7
• Pharmacy 24/7
• Scrub color: any color except all black
