Job summary

Bristol Health in Bristol, CT is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Associate to join the med/surg telemetry team. This full-time role supports nurses, provides essential direct patient care, assists with ADLs, and helps manage a diverse patient population.

You’ll receive onboarding with a dedicated Preceptor, ongoing education, SIM lab access, and a professional development specialist. Applicants should have a High School diploma, BLS, CNA or related experience, and willingness to float as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CNA certificate or 1 year of related PCA/Ed Tech experience.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Record input/output and vital signs as directed.
• Transport patients and deliver care per the care plan.
• Document care activities clearly and timely.
