Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Glendale Heights, IL seeks a Patient Care Technician for a full time day shift. Schedule: 36 hours/week, 6:30am-7:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Up to a $3,000 sign on bonus is offered.

Performs treatments and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, communicates with patients and families, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows policy on isolation and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous bedside patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care under RN direction.
• Communicates with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and reports abnormalities.
