DirectShifts is seeking a compassionate Med-Surg RN to join our network in New Jersey. You will care for adult patients before, during, and after surgery, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, implementing plans, administering meds, monitoring vitals, and educating patients and families. A strong team player with excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New Jersey State RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Strong understanding of adult medical-surgical conditions.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, wound care, and other nursing interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, document care, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and discharge.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment and adhere to hospital policies.
