Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to assist with activities of daily living.
• Ability to work in a high reliability organization focusing on safety and quality.
• Experience with basic nursing tasks and patient care.
• Familiarity with clinical measurements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, mobility) for patients.
• Performs delegable nursing tasks under RN supervision and conducts basic tests (e.g., fingerstick glucose, urine dipstick).
• Records vital signs, height/weight, intake/output, and documents accurately.
• Assists visitors and staff with information needs and supports unit operations.
• Emphasizes safety, quality and efficiency as part of responsibilities within a high reliability organization.
