Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department standards. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, compassionate care and positive outcomes.

You will assess patient status, administer prescribed medications, educate patients and families, and ensure thorough documentation in the medical record. A strong RN with 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license and active nursing registration.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide timely, compassionate patient care and respond to requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan and follow-up.
