Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN required.
• Two years of shift leader/charge nurse experience in med/surg area or equivalent.
• 5 years preferred experience in shift leader/charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Director in safe and effective care provision.
• Maintain both management and clinical nurse roles in the department.
• Serve as director in the director's absence.

What You Will Do

The Med/Surg Night Shift Clinical Manager is responsible for supporting the Nurse Director in the safe and effective provision of care for the Medical/Surgical unit. Maintain both management and clinical nurse roles in the department. Serve as director in director’s absence.

Required Education

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN

Required Skills

Leadership, organization, fiscal stewardship. Knowledge of critical care practices. Act as a mentor, coach and develop others, act as a role model. Attentive to details.
